The short bus beat me today on Walnut between Yale & Culver.

Freakin Late

I woke up at 7:50. Work starts at 8:00. Not a pretty morning. Didn't get in my morning shower or time to even really brush my teeth. I didn't get in until 8:15. It would have been 8:05 but someone took my parking spot. I still need to go take a piss, too and it's 9:00 AM.

Perks of My Job

I like how I have students I can send off campus to get me milk tea and another student who got me Subway.

Joy

Life keeps getting better for me. There are always those random moments of apathy or sadness, but I'm finding them to be rare and trivial compared to the last 2 years. I love my students, I love my job and my co-workers, I LIKE my Exodus family (I was talking with PEric about how the word "like" has a stronger meaning than "love"). I keep telling people "I'm blessed" but those words don't justify what God has done for me. I can't possibly conceive how I was able to survive so many years unhappy at the world and thinking that was the norm.
